Optimus isn’t a hypocrit, all those situations you just listed are completely irrelavent. He doesn’t condone it either way, D’Con attacks can’t always be prevented, and it’s always implied that there’s scolding even if it’s off screen. Like Raf getting grounded, we heard the cause of it, didn’t see it happen.Toward the end of Legacy, when Optimus was telling Smokescreen off, he looked pissed.
